Nature & Environment

Due to the location of the centre, this lends itself to a variety of nature studies and environmental investigation. The site itself consists of a range of small fields, woodland and a stream. Also close by is Cranham Common and Buckholt Wood, both of which are protected as Sites of Special Scientific Interest for the plants, trees and animal life found within them. We are currently working on a number of boxes to assist with this exploration using a variety of medium. Please contact us to find out more.

Risk Assessment: We are working on this and will update it as soon as possible

Orienteering

With access to Buckholt Wood we can offer a range of lengths of orienteering courses to suit the needs of your group. Orienteering is self supervised, and while the easier course can be followed by just using the footpaths, a greater understanding of map work is required for the more difficult courses.
