Over the years a number of companies have supported the centre by doing some work on site.
How does it work?
Very simply, we provide any tools and equipment and you provide the labour.
What sorts of things can be done?
Since April 2011, corporate volunteers have been involved in the development and maintenance of the Challenge Course, cleaning and painting the porta-cabins, felling and clearing some trees and bushes, reconstruction of a bridge and erection of a pair of gates on our chapel. We prefer to provide projects that are practical and achievable in the time that you spend here.
What does it cost?
There is no cost for the volunteering. However, some companies like to pay for some of the equipment used if things have to be purchased (e.g. paint or wood chippings). If catering is provided a charge for this may be levied.
