The team
Over the last fifty five years, Cranham has relied heavily on the volunteers who give up their time to develop the site. In 2011 we are endeavouring to develop the volunteer base on site by formalising the Service Team and recruiting more volunteers.
From 28th May 2011, the Cranham Active Support Team will be introduced. Based on the support of all of the existing volunteers this will work towards developing the site for the future, while welcoming a host of new members aged from 14 years old upwards.
The team will be involved in projects which include:
- Improving the fencing and dry stone walling around the site
- Cleaning and timber cladding the porta-cabins
- Improving site drainage
- Instigating an Open Day to promote new business
- Clearing and tidying some tree on site and planting new trees
- Other cleaning, tidying and maintenance projects
The team will meet once a month and carry out the tasks on site.
The dates for the next few months are:
7th - 8th January
11th - 12th February
3rd - 4th March
